IES Virtual Environment 5.9 course

Sure korang tertanya-tanya apa tu IES VE kan...??? Jangan nak bohong la...aku tau, sebab software ni blum banyak expert lagi terutama kepada mereka yang bekerja melibatkan isu tenaga.

Ni aku copy dari pop up message bila mula-mula aku klik VE 5.9:

BUILDING DESIGN SOFTWARE FORARCHITECTS, ENGINEERS & BUILDING MANAGERS
Evaluate the performance of the building throughout the design process

  • Predict Comfort Conditions
  • Examine the Visual Impact
  • Satisfy Safety Standards
  • Design Services Quickly and Accurately
  • Optimise Energy Efficiency
  • Control Costs

Using the Virtual EnvironmentBefore you use the building analysis software, you must either create a new project or open up an existing one. Use the dialog which appears at start-up to do this. When you type in a project name, the VE automatically creates a sub-folder of this name which the project will be placed in. You will then be taken into the ModelIT modelbuilding application view.To navigate to different modules within the framework, select the appropriate application groups tab from the side bar. Once selected, you will be able to select the appropriate application by clicking on the application button within each tab. When you open a project, you will be automatically taken to the ModelIT (model building) module. When you've finished creating the model geometry, just navigate to the module you want using the method above
Software Licences.

You will need to obtain software licences for your software from IES. If you haven't done this already, please select 'IES Online', 'Request Licence Keys' and follow the on screen instructions.

Ok, now aku share experience aku dalam masa 2 hari (hari ni hari terakhir aku kursus) sebab sure korang nak tau punya!!

Sebelum kita run simulation, kita kena masukkan segala properties bahan bina, contohnya wall kita buat dari brick apa, apa heat properties dia, berapa layer, emissivity dia, COP apa, energy efficiency apa, electric watt berapa, blablabalb..bla..
